FOURTEEN PEOPLE, ONE OBSESSION.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2011. We design buildings that belong — and stay on site until the last oak threshold is laid.

Architecture is a slow craft.

We take six projects a year, and give each one the time it needs.

Everything happens in-house: landscape, structure, interiors, and the furniture that completes a room. One partner leads every project from first sketch to final inspection — nothing is handed off, nothing is lost in translation.

Build for the place

Every design begins with the site — its light, its soil, its neighbours. A Rahus building should look inevitable, not imported.

Details carry the idea

A handrail, a door pull, a stair nosing: the concept survives only if the details hold it. We draw them all ourselves.

Materials that age well

Brick, oak, lime plaster, zinc. We choose materials that weather honestly and need no apology in thirty years.

Stay until it’s built

We remain on site through construction. Drawings are promises; the building is the proof. We don’t leave until both agree.
